Seminar on “Awareness into Maritime Industry and the Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers” and Construction Management for Civil Engineers”
The Department of Training and Placement Cell organized a seminar on “Awareness into Maritime Industry and the Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers” and Construction Management for Civil Engineers” at JCT campus on 19.02.2020. IVION INDUSTRIAL ACADEMY, Kochin hosted the seminar for final year (Mechanical and CIVIL) students. Totally 152 students attended the seminar.
IVION Industrial Academy which was established in the year 2018 is now a reputed name in the Training Industry. With a strong team of dedicated intellectuals led by Mr. Faizal Farook – Director is stimulated to develop concepts which cater to an ever-increasing demand for innovation in the sector.
As a result of this, their success is to place more than 500 students in the past years with their guidance in different Shipyards and Civil based companies.
Dr.G.Ramesh (Principal-JCTCET) and Dr. R. Manoharan (Principal-JCTPC) welcomed Mr. Faizal Farook and team of IVION INDUSTRIAL ACADEMY and the gathering. Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick (Vice Principal-JCTCET) delivered the key note address. Prof.V.Jethose (Head – Training and Placement) & Mr. Subin Subramanian, Training and Placement Officer & Mr.Nethaji Kumar. D, Placement Officer, felicitated.
Mr. Faizal Farook explained about the scope and the way to approach the shipyard industry for Mechanical students and he shared his experience in shipyard for more than 10 years. He was focusing the importance of Mechanical students to reach the core industry, Mr. Jayadevan Pillai and Mr. Aswin explained about the opportunities and growth in Civil industry. They explained the importance of short term courses and the certification benefits and job opportunities in India and Abroad. They had an interactive session with our students.
