About the Department
The Department of Agricultural Engineering is committed to providing quality technical education by integrating engineering principles with modern agricultural practices. The department focuses on farm mechanization, agricultural machinery, irrigation, soil and water management, agricultural processing, and sustainable agricultural technologies.
Students gain practical knowledge through laboratory experiments, field activities, hands-on training, industrial visits, and project work. The department provides exposure to modern farm machinery and emerging technologies to develop students' technical and problem-solving skills.
The department aims to prepare skilled and industry-ready professionals for opportunities in agricultural industries, farm machinery, agro-processing, irrigation, government organizations, and entrepreneurship, while encouraging innovation and sustainable agricultural development.

- 1To provide practical, hands-on education and industry-oriented training in Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on farm machinery and implements, crop production, soil and water management, irrigation, farm structures, and post-harvest technology.
