About the Department

The department of mechanical engineering is started in the year 2014-2015. It has been started with the objective to create outstanding diploma engineers, with advanced teaching and learning aids for the students. The department has well qualified faculty members and excellent laboratory facilities. The diploma program imparts students to master over the field of mechanical engineering besides knowledge of recent trends and development to shine as a successful engineer.

Student gain practical experience from the mechanical engineering field which requires an understanding of core areas including mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. In addition to these core principles, mechanical engineers use tools such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and product life cycle management to design and analyse manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices and others.
