WORKSHOP ON SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

The Department of Agricultural Engineering successfully organized a workshop on "Sustainable Agriculture" to create awareness among students about the importance of sustainable farming practices, modern agricultural technologies, and environmentally responsible approaches to agricultural development.

The workshop aimed to enhance students' understanding of sustainable agricultural methods and their role in addressing the challenges faced by the agricultural sector.

The programme was conducted in the esteemed presence of our respected Principal, Prof. M. Rajkumar, along with the Head of the Department, faculty members, and students of the Department of Agricultural Engineering. Their valuable presence and support contributed significantly to the successful organization of the workshop.

The workshop featured Mr. Ashutosh C. Kakde, Assistant Professor, Nehru College, as the distinguished resource person. He delivered an informative and engaging session on various aspects of sustainable agriculture, emphasizing the need to adopt environmentally friendly farming techniques and innovative agricultural practices.

He shared valuable insights into the effective utilization of natural resources, soil conservation, water management, and the importance of maintaining ecological balance in agricultural activities.

During the session, the resource person highlighted the significance of modern agricultural technologies in improving productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
