JCT Polytechnic College proudly inaugurated the newly established Computer Technology Laboratory in the Department of Computer Technology on 4 August 2026, marking another significant step towards strengthening practical, technology-driven, and industry-oriented education.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Thiru. R. Arulselvan, Chairman / Managing Trustee; Thiru. R. Gautam, Vice Chairman / Member of Trust; Thiru. R. Durga Shankar, Secretary & Managing Trustee; Dr. S. Manoharan, Senior Principal, JCT Institutions; Prof. Rajkumar, M.E., Principal, JCT Polytechnic College; and Dr. S. Anbarasu, Principal, JCT College of Arts & Science.
The new laboratory has been established to provide an effective environment for hands-on learning, programming, software development, practical experimentation, and project-based activities. It enables students to apply classroom concepts to real-world applications while strengthening their technical knowledge, logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The facility will also support students in exploring emerging areas of Computer Technology and developing innovative solutions through practical learning. By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, the laboratory aims to prepare students to confidently meet the evolving requirements of the technology and IT sectors.
The inauguration reflects JCT Polytechnic College's continued commitment to quality education, modern infrastructure, innovation, and skill-based learning.
