JCT College Engineering and Technology Celebrates India’s 80th Independence Day with Special Pattimandram
JCT College of Engineering and Technology celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with a special Pattimandram on the topic “What elevates human beings in today’s world— Artificial Intelligence or Human Values?”
Independence Day celebrations were held at JCT College of Engineering and Technology in Pichanur. The college principal, S. Manoharan, hoisted the national flag.
As part of the celebrations, the Tamil Mandram organised a special Pattimandram (debate) on the topic, “What elevates human beings in today’s world—Artificial Intelligence or Human Values?”
The debate was moderated by S. Karthikeyaswaran, Head of the Department of CSBS.
Participants
Representing the “Artificial Intelligence” team were Maheswarprabhu and Lithanyaasri, second-year Food Technology students, and Anand Padmanabhan, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student.
Representing the “Human Values” team were Jansiba, a third-year CSE student; Balakumaran, a second-year CSBS student; and Mujahitha, a second-year CSE student.
College administrators, professors, staff members and students participated in the event.
