The School of Computing Science at JCT College of Arts and Science organized a hands-on beginner workshop titled “AI Without the Hype” on 28 July 2026 at JCTCAS Lab 1. The programme was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and help them develop a practical understanding of its applications in today's technology-driven world.
The workshop featured Mr. C. Yuvaraj, CEO of Xenclavis, Coimbatore, as the resource person. The session focused on introducing Artificial Intelligence in a simple, accessible, and practical manner, helping students understand AI concepts beyond the hype and explore its growing significance across various industries.
The programme highlighted the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, its real-world applications, and its potential to transform modern technologies and professional practices. The workshop was convened by Dr. Sajitha M, Head of the School of Computing Science, and coordinated by Ms. Shamna M, Assistant Professor, School of Computing Science.
