WORKSHOP ON WEB APPLICATION SECURITY & API ATTACK TECHNIQUES

The School of Computing Science at JCT College organized an insightful workshop on Web Application Security & API Attack Techniques. Led by Xenclavis experts Mr. Vijayakumaran and Mr. Gopinath S, the session covered API vulnerabilities, real-world case studies, and essential cybersecurity practices.

The School of Computing Science at JCT College of Arts and Science organized a technical workshop on “Web Application Security & API Attack Techniques” on 9 September 2026 at the JCTCAS Laboratory 1.

The workshop featured Mr. Vijayakumaran, Executive Chairman, Xenclavis, Coimbatore, and Mr. Gopinath S, CEO and Penetration Tester, Xenclavis, Coimbatore, as the resource persons.

The session covered essential topics, including web application security, API vulnerabilities and attacks, real-world case studies, and hands-on cybersecurity insights. It aimed to enhance students’ understanding of modern cyber threats and the importance of securing web applications and APIs against potential vulnerabilities.

The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Shamna, Assistant Professor, School of Computing Science, and convened by Dr. Sajitha M, Head of the School of Computing Science.

The workshop provided students with valuable industry insights into cybersecurity practices, encouraging them to expand their technical knowledge, explore emerging security technologies, and develop a deeper understanding of protecting digital systems in an increasingly connected world.
