The workshop featured Er. Ramesh R, Embedded Engineer & Technical Trainer at Embuzz Technologies Private Limited, Coimbatore, as the resource person.
The session focused on fundamental and advanced concepts in embedded systems and the Internet of Things (IoT). Students were introduced to the Arduino platform, sensor interfacing, microcontroller programming, and real-world smart application development.
The programme explored practical aspects of integrating hardware with cloud connectivity, controlling electronic devices remotely, and deploying IoT solutions for real-world automation challenges. It highlighted hands-on technical skills and modern hardware-software integration methodologies.
The workshop was coordinated by Mrs. Shamna, Assistant Professor, School of Computing Science, and convened by Dr. Sajitha M, Head of the School of Computing Science.
The session provided students with practical technical exposure, encouraging them to innovate in embedded hardware development and build practical IoT projects for smart technologies.
